The yarn is soft and thick, easy to work with but mine had some lints or whatever it's called, I'm making a scarf and a lump keeps coming up once in a while which is pretty annoying. But the color (maroon) is gorgeous, wayy more beautiful in real life infact, so I don't mind it much
